Foster parent grief isn't talked about much, yet it is cited as one of the most common reasons for not continuing to foster. Months or years of care and love for a child who moves can leave a hole in the hearts and lives of foster families. This training video helps the grieving foster parent work through the grieving process.

Our “Family Works” philosophy says we believe that children should be with family, but if they can not be with their biological family, we want children to be with people who can be family for them. MBCH Children and Family Ministries actively recruit adult Christians to take care of these children. You can find out how the process works by attending an informational meeting held monthly across the state.
