The LIGHT House

Outreach Christmas Party

On December 19, The LIGHT House Outreach families gathered for our annual Christmas Party, to fellowship together and celebrate Christ’s birth. Everyone enjoyed a meal, then participated in cookie decorating, Christmas crafting, and balloon animal fun! We even had a visit from Santa! Each family was blessed with gift cards and a grab bag full of goodies for each mom, child and baby.

A big thank you to all the community members who helped make this possible. We couldn’t have done it without you!

Again this year, the Classic Cup donated food toward the dinner. Midway Auto contributed financially for meal expenses and gifts. Metro Christian Fellowship and Saint Elizabeth’s donated gift cards for our families. We had wonderful volunteers from Metro help serve the meal and oversee the craft tables. Student ministries at MNU collected toy items for the grab bags. Ronita Cochran, donated all of the gift bags for the mothers at Outreach.

Smithville High School did a week long drive to benefit the LIGHT House, right before the holiday!

Each Christmas, we are reminded of the giving community around us that enables The LIGHT House to bring hope and resources to the families that we serve. It was a Merry Christmas, indeed.
