Program Director - Springfield

MBCH Children and Family Ministries is seeking a full-time Program Director for our Springfield, Missouri location. This candidate is responsible for participating in the strategic development and planning of programs and directly responsible for their successful implementation and management through supervisors reporting to him/her and is responsible for providing trauma-informed leadership.

The Primary Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership that focuses all employees on the mission of the organization and promotes the well-being and spiritual development of program staff.
  • Ensure that the principles of the agency trauma-informed model (TBRI – Trust-Based Relational Intervention) are utilized in work with clients and staff.
  • Supervise program staff as assigned providing encouragement, support, and accountability.
  • Participate in budget development and manage revenue and expenditures in assigned areas.
  • Oversee Family Resource Development, Treatment Family Care, Family Foster Care and Transitional Living Sites program operations in Springfield, Mo.

Qualifications:

  • MSW or Master's Degree in related field
  • Prior successful experience managing people at the supervisory level preferred
  • Minimum of three to five years' experience in social services
  • Successful prior experience in program development preferred
  • Experience in effective writing and presentations skills
  • Successful completion of any initial and recurrent training and/or certification required of this position.

Youth Care Specialist (Live-In) - this position comes with a $1,000 sign-on bonus!

Your day will involve working directly with teens who have experienced trauma. You will build connections and relationships with them, manage their daily needs, help them with their education, transport them to appointments and for outings, and assist with recreational activities as well as daily devotions and prayer. Since we are a Christian faith-based organization, you will be able to live out your faith in practical ways every day. The job is rewarding and life-changing (for both you and the client).

As a live-in youth care specialist, you will work for 7 straight days and then get the next 7 days off to do whatever you like! You will not even need to move from your current home (wherever that might be) since the commute is only one time per week. On the 7 days that you will be working you will receive regular breaks. Pay:

  • High school diploma: from $24,447.00
  • Bachelor’s degree: from $29,724

Eligibility Requirements:

  • At least 21 years of age
  • Valid driver’s license

  • Able to work live-in schedule (alternating weeks – 7 days on duty/7 days off duty)

Pay:

  • High school diploma: from $20,155
  • Bachelor’s degree: from $22,776
