Hope can be as simple as asking a question

Our Pregnancy Services Specialist met “Janie” when she was most desperate. Janie got pregnant in high school and dropped out. She had her baby, but had no way to support her child. Not being able to see any other choices, she was considering giving up custody of her child. Our Pregnancy Services Specialist looks for strengths and challenges during initial assessments and she asked Janie, “What kind of career would you like to have?” Janie was astounded; she never considered that she could choose a career. No one had ever asked her that question before.

Janie created a plan with her Pregnancy Services Specialist and she is working toward meeting her goal of training for a career that will allow her to create a better life for her child.
