Helping Clients through Tele-therapy

Written by Kathy Woods, MBCH Counseling Center Coordinator

It has been a month of quick changes, more changes, and adjustments, as everyone comes to an acceptance of our new reality. Everyone is feeling the stress, anxiety, and confusion of living from day to day in this time of Covid-19.  It doesn’t look like things will get back to normal anytime soon. I am so thankful for a team of therapists that have willingly stepped out of their comfort zones to offer tele-therapy to our clients. We are currently serving most of our clients using this medium. I am grateful for the time in which we live and the ability to see clients via the many different platforms available. We are still able to be there for our clients and meet their mental and emotional health needs. We look forward to serving God by impacting the lives of children, youth, and families (through the use of the internet) to make a lasting difference in their lives.
