Koins4Kids

“KOINS4Kids” is a program that replaces the “Miles of Pennies” promotion that Missouri Baptist Children’s Home has used for many, many years. The truth is, a mile of pennies just doesn’t go as far as it used to (pun intended). “KOINS4Kids” expands the concept to include nickels, dimes, quarters and half-dollars.

Koins4Kids is proof that anyone can make a difference in the lives of children – even other kids! The idea is simple: when a group of people all give their spare change, the impact can really add up. Churches can use Koins4Kids as a way to teach children about giving and how to put the needs of others first. The downloadable materials on this page provide all the elements necessary to get your group excited about giving.

This program is great for a VBS offering or as a project for a Sunday school class, small group, children’s missions group or even the whole church. Coins (dollar bills work, too!) are collected over the course of a set period of time (for example, the week of VBS), and then donated to Missouri Baptist Children’s Home. The money helps us provide hope, healing and restoration to hurting children. If you like, you can even designate your Koins4Kids offering to provide a scholarship for one of our kids to go to our summer “Camp Connect.”
