Looking for a challenging race that will test your abilities and support a good cause? If so, the third annual MBCH 4Miles4Kids is the race for YOU!
All distances (4 mile, 10K, and 15K) of the MBCH 4Miles4Kids takes place on the Wilson’s Creek Greenway Trail. Over 95% of the course is paved with only a short section of gravel. Drink stations are located at the two-mile turnaround and the 15K turnaround. All runners receive a shirt, a finisher’s medal, and free food. All proceeds support the mission and ministries of Missouri Baptist Children’s Home. Check out www.mbch.org to learn more about how MBCH is working to make a difference.
Beginning at the beautiful Rutledge-Wilson Farm Park, 4Miles4Kids runners head south along Wilson’s Creek, passing through a mix of hardwood forests and fields, with several footbridge and low water crossings (which are usually dry). Runners will pass through a few cattle gates and may have opportunity to meet friendly cows during their race. 10K and 15K runners will enjoy the more remote and scenic sections of the Wilson’s Creek Greenway trail, with the 10K runners turning around shortly before reaching Tal’s Trailhead (at 3.1 miles). Once past Tal’s Trailhead, 15K runners will tackle the most challenging section of the course with some strenuous climbs and fast downhills before turning around at the Rountree Branch Trailhead (approx. 4.5 miles).
