You will find a variety of handmade crafts, woodworking items and quilts, which individuals and groups from all over the state have donated for the occasion. These items have been submitted to a panel of judges, and the winners of each category will receive trophies to honor the makers for the time, talent and love that they have woven into each amazing creation. As a visitor to the Ozarks Berry Festival you may view and purchase many of these treasures in our craft sales area. Many of our guests return each year because of the excitement of our live auction. They hope to place a winning bid on some of these prize-winning quilts and craft items. In an effort to improve the accuracy of each sale, our technicians designed a “tote board” program to project each sale our big screen. The display included the item and bidder numbers, as well as the sales price of each item. Another column included the “running total” of auction proceeds that would be forwarded to the Missouri Baptist Children’s Home. We were thrilled with the enthusiasm that was generated as each sale increased the “running total” going to the children. We are looking forward to even more excitement this year! I hope that you can join us.

Your quilts and handmade crafts may be delivered to Macedonia Baptist Church (Mon-Fri) from July 22 through July 30 during the business hours of 8:00am-5:00pm. Please deliver your quilts and crafts to the east end of the educational building, not to the church office. Quilts and Crafts must arrive by 5:00pm on Tuesday, July 30th to be eligible for Judging.

At the time of delivery, an ‘entry form’ must accompany ALL quilts and crafts. Our receiving department attendants will assist you as needed with the forms. Please add email addresses for the maker and/or contact person on each entry form.

A unique ‘Item Number’ will be assigned to each Quilt and Craft item prior to being submitted for ‘Judging,’ so that the judges will not know the identity of the maker or donor. The “Quilting Department” will be calling each prize winners to let them know that they have won. Pictures of the prize winning quilts with their maker(s) will be taken between 8:00–9:00am. Please check in at Room 110. You may assist our volunteers in locating your quilt in the quilt maze, but for security reasons, only our volunteers may handle the quilts.

Many varieties of berries are found in the Ozarks, and many of you have perfected unique recipes for delicious berry cobblers. Guests of the Ozarks Berry Festival traditionally look forward to a delicious piece of cobbler with a generous scoop of ice cream as a topping.

We hope that you will consider donating one (or more) of your favorite cobblers, knowing that all proceeds from the Ozarks Berry Festival go directly to the children and ministries of the Missouri Baptist Children’s Home!

Please prepare your cobbler(s) in "disposable" pans with covers, and identify the type of berries in the cobbler by marking the outside of the container.

The cobblers can be delivered to Macedonia Baptist Church on Friday, August 9th during the business hours of 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM. Please deliver them to the east end of the education building, not to the church office.

You may also bring your cobblers on the morning of the festival. For your convenience, the drop-off location is located near our Guest Registration Area at the North entrances of our Sanctuary. Please do not carry them through the Sanctuary, as food and drink are not permitted in the auction and quilt viewing areas.

Volunteers are needed to help in a variety of ways to make the festival go smoothly for our guests. You might enjoy helping with guest registration for bidder’s cards, or passing out rubber gloves for those visiting the quilt viewing maze. Serving cobbler and ice cream, as well as cleaning tables are other popular jobs. If you are interested in serving in any way to help make the day go smoothly for all of our guests, please contact Bruce Smith at (417) 886-1355 or by email at OzarksBerryFestival@gmail.com . You may also contact the church office at (417) 882-6647 and they will be happy to find you a place to serve.

Join us for a day of family fun while supporting the children at Missouri Baptist Children's Home.
