Every member of the family is infinitely precious and designed by God with a unique purpose no one else can fulfill. At Missouri Baptist Children’s Home (MBCH), we love helping children, youth, adults, and families all across Missouri make their way from brokenness to hope as they discover their place in God’s redemptive plan.
Our Programs and Services
Originally established as the Baptist Orphans Home in 1886, MBCH has expanded our vision to help people of all ages and backgrounds find a home. Our family foster care, treatment family care, and family resource development programs empower foster parents, relatives, and families to help kids heal while connecting children and youth with permanent homes where they can thrive. We also provide transitional living to help youth aging out of foster care achieve independence, and we will soon be opening a youth drop-in center to connect homeless youth with resources and case workers.
MBCH also provides residential care for developmentally disabled adults, Christian counseling services for both children and adults, residential and home-based pregnancy care, and anti-trafficking services. Furthermore, we partner with local churches to increase their reach within their own communities.
Everyone matters, and everyone belongs in a family—that’s God’s design. While we have the resources, case workers, licenses, and training to offer specialized care for certain types of needs, our heart is to serve and support every member of the family in any way possible as we strategically leverage the gifts God has given us to make the greatest possible impact on Missouri’s very soul.
