Passing of Dr. Bob Kenison

We were saddened to learn of the passing of Dr. Raymond R. (Bob) Kenison, who served as president of  MBCH for many years until his retirement in 2014.  I was priviliged to have worked with him the entire time he was with MBCH (1977-2014).  

Under his leadership, MBCH grew from one campus dedicated primarily to residential care to three campuses and three regional offices to better meet changing societal needs.  When he became president, MBCH served 43 children on its campus in Bridgeton and 55 in foster homes.  When he retired, it served 254 children in various residential services and 496 in foster/adoptive homes.

He was truly a champion for children and he devoted his life investing in them.  Well done, good and faithful servant.  Enter into your time of rest.
