November is National Adoption Month.  The Missouri Children's Division is making plans for its 4th annual "Shine A Light for Adoption" candlelight vigil scheduled for November 14, 2021, at 6:30 p.m.  Activities may vary, but individuals, churches, and other groups are being encouraged to take a few minutes to pause and reflect on the children who are seeking a forever home through adoption.

You can join with others around the state by having your church, organization, or group plan a "Shine A Light for Adoption" candlelight vigil.  Activities could include music, prayer, adoption stories, fellowship, and information available on how to become an adoptive family.

You can also choose to participate by simply turning on your porch light from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on November 14.

So far this year, Missouri Baptist Children's Home and The LIGHT House have help facilitate 49 adoptions.  What a joy it is to have had a part to help these 49 children be adopted into forever homes.
