During the first quarter of 2021, the staff of MBCH Children and Family Ministries helped facilitate 50 permanencies (26 reunifications, 6 guardianships, 8 adoptions by relative/kin, and 10 adoptions by foster parents). We praise God for these permanencies and the positive impacts they will have on these 50 children.
Permanency is a common goal for many of the children in our care. Foster parents have a big role in helping us facilitate this goal for them.
May is National Foster Care Month. I would encourage you to please join us each day in praying for all those impacted by the foster care system. You can access our digital calendar on our website. It contains links to information along with a scripture passage for each day. Just go to May Prayer Calendar that you will find under the "Get Involved" tab.
Thank you for your partnership with us as we respond to the needs of children, youth, and families to make a lasting difference in their lives.
