Women's Ministry

It’s been an exciting Fall talking with Women’s and Girl’s Ministry Leaders from around the State and being a part of several Fall conferences. I was recently privileged to be invited to speak at Harold Baptist Church in Walnut Grove. A great group of ladies gathered from several churches from around the area for that conference.

I had several brand-new bible study resources on display that were very specialized in what they addressed. Two young women expressed their need for two of those specific studies and I was so excited to be able to make those available immediately to them. That is just like our God to provide what we need when we least expect it in a most uncommon way.

We are busy praying, planning and preparing for our upcoming TGE (Trust God in Everything) event in February, 2018. We are pleased that we will be bringing it to the Ramada Plaza Hotel and Oasis Convention Center in Springfield. This is a beautiful facility where the overnight rooms are very convenient to the Convention Center – everything is under one roof and on one level.

We will have GREAT worship experiences with a Ladies Trio from Ridgecrest Baptist Church in St. Charles, thirty-five breakout classes (from which the women may choose five) and exceptional grade related classes for the girls. We will have NEW sessions added which will include two, 1-hour classes for Women’s Ministry Leaders and Teams and new sessions that will educate and inform about the tremendous ministries available through Missouri Baptist Children’s Home.

(Note to Women’s Ministry Leaders and Teams: There is only room for 50 Women’s Ministry Leaders, so don’t miss out; get with your team and register early!)

There is nothing in the country like this event that is designed just for women and girls! They can come together, worship together, and then enjoy sessions designed especially for them based on our Theme for 2018: Living Beyond Myself!

We have other EXCITING opportunities coming up that you’ll want to add to your 2018 calendar and make plans now to attend!

  • April 6-7, 2018: WMU Annual Meeting
Location: South Gate Baptist Church – Springfield, MO
  • July 12-13, 2018: State Wide Women’s Ministry Training Workshop (prior to Beth Moore Event)
Location: Grace Bible Church – Columbia, MO
  • July 13-14, 2018: LifeWay LPL Beth Moore Event
Location: Mizzou Arena – Columbia, MO

Please feel free to contact me if I can assist you and/or your church with Women’s and/or Girl’s ministry information, resources and helps. If you are making preparations and planning for 2018 Spring or Fall events and looking for a speaker, it would be my privilege to serve you and the ladies in your church and community as the speaker for your event. My contact information is  wanda.shellenbarger@mbch.org, Wanda4WomensMinistry@gmail.com or or 417.529.0724.
