The
MBCH PDI Tutoring Center offers
affordable, individualized academic skills instruction in reading,
math and study skills to students in grades K-1 through the Achievia Tutoring™
program.
Achievia Tutoring™
is an individualized, motivational, diagnostic and prescriptive
reading and math program designed to support each student's
individual needs. Each student is given a series of diagnostic
tests to determine their specific needs. An individualized
instruction plan is then developed that matches each student's
academic needs with specific materials chosen from an extensive
curriculum library. Tutors provide individualized instruction with
a 3:1 student/tutor ratio. Students start at a point that allows
them to achieve instant success, leading to an increase in
confidence and self-esteem. As the student progresses through
their individual program, they master skills in which they are
deficient. A unique reward system of “Achievia credits” provides
positive reinforcement that helps students remain motivated.

confident in the success of Achievia Tutoring™ that we guarantee
your child will improve one full grade level within the first 40
hours of instruction or we will continue to tutor your child for
an additional 15 hours free of charge (restrictions apply).

Tutoring™ Program consists of four key components

Achievia Tutoring™ Skills Assessment. We start by
determining your child's strengths and weaknesses with the Achievia
Tutoring Skills Assessment. Sophisticated diagnostic testing tools
enable us to structure a tutoring program to meet your child's
specific needs. You will receive the results of the test immediately
in writing.
Personal
Attention...Focused Approach. Based upon the Skills
Assessment, a fully customized program of instruction is developed
specifically for your child. This program is created from an
extensive library of the most effective and up-to-date learning
materials. Our curriculum is personalized, challenging, and based on
each child's unique skill level. By focusing on what students need
to know, and reinforcing what has already been learned, no time is
spent developing skills already mastered.
Motivation...And Rewards. The Achievia Tutoring™ program is
designed to ensure your child is motivated and achieves instant
success! As students progress, the curriculum is adapted so their
