Campaign 2000Missouri Baptist Children’s Home has undertaken a bold new initiative to expand and improve the physical facilities on the main campus in Bridgeton. Meeting the challenge yesterday, today and tomorrow, “Campaign 2000” provide for renovation of existing facilities and construction of new buildings to house the growing program needs of hurting children, youth and families. Already accomplished in this campaign is the construction of the Pillsbury Crisis Care Center and the Edmundson Road Baptist Church Spiritual Life Center. Additional campus development that has already been completed include a new parking lot and main campus entrance, safety fencing and lighting and a Donor/Prayer Plaza. This exciting campaigns will enable us to touch even more children with the heart of God. Paving a Pathway for Children
A major part of the campus development project is a beautiful Donor Plaza. This plaza hasl become the focus of prayer, meditation, reflection and campus activity. The Plaza is constructed of granite pavers paying honor and tribute to individuals, churches and organizations who love children and support the ministries of MBCH. Each of these granite pavers will be engraved with a “love note” that will serve as a reminder that our children are loved. Every time a hurting child walks across the plaza, he/she will see that they are loved by thousands of people they will never even meet. Hundreds of these pavers have already been engraved, but many remain to be engraved with your message of love for our children. There are several sizes of granite pavers available which provide ample opportunity for people of all financial means to be a part of this eternal memorial. A 4x8 paver (standard brick size) costs $100 and will accommodate 3 lines of up to 14 characters each. An 8x8 paver costs $250. There are also 3 different types of 18x18 pavers: standard is $500, pavers around the fountain are $750 and the "Cornerstone" pavers at each intersection are $1,000. Each of the 18x18 pavers and the 8x8 pavers accommodate up to 6 lines of 14 characters per line. Bricks and pavers can be engraved with 1) the name of the donor, 2) the name of a loved one you wish to honor or memorialize or 3) a scripture verse or reference. Download copy of Brick Order Form.
